We strive to make Roots n Blues Festival as accessible as possible for everyone to enjoy.

ADA Parking

Every space in the Riechmann Pavilion parking lot is reserved for festival guests with ADA hangtags and/or license plates.

East Walnut is closed to general traffic at Old Hwy. 63. Only those vehicles with ADA hangtag or license plate are permitted to enter on to East Walnut. In the Riechmann Pavilion parking lot our ADA assistance staff have carts available to transport our guests in need of mobility assistance.

Event Entrance

The ADA entrance is next to the Riechmann Pavilion. For our guests with limited mobility, we provide cart service from the parking lot near the entry gates to six key locations within the festival grounds.

We have ADA carts traveling in a constant loop throughout all hours of festival operations. This service is provided courtesy of Restoration Eye Care. There will be locations affixed with a particular sign (see image below) where patrons can take a seat and wait for ADA carts, which will also be marked with this sign. Drivers will deliver guests with limited mobility and 1-2 companions to any of the other stops with this signage.

Routes are kept relatively flat. The grass will be cut prior to the event to keep the terrain as manageable as possible.

Electric chairs can be charged at the First Aid Tent.

The ADA viewing tent at the MU Health Care stage is sponsored by Restoration Eye Care.
